  • Ideal for use when conventionally cooked & heated food takes a long time to get from kitchen to patients (e.g. elevator congestion, large facilities)
  • Food is heated, plated, assembled onto trays and loaded (hot and cold) into A la Cart retherm serving carts
  • Carts are transported to serving area and docked to controller chiller unit
  • System II "Boost Mode" retherms and chills carts for 15-20 minutes to reheat food to desired temperature
  • Cold food (salads, etc.) is cooled while hot food is heated
